JIU-JITSU AND SELF-DEFENSE

  • The largest public sports Union of Republic of Belarus with the republican status, working at a level of state organizations.

  • In December 2003, BRPU of Jiu-Jitsu and Sefl-Defense entered the International Bushido Society headed by Rick Reynolds (9th Dan).
  • Mikhail Kavalev - The adviser for legal questions of union. Black Belt 2nd Dan in Jiu-jitsu, 2nd Dan in White Wind Wen Wu. The experience of occupations since 1982. Since 2003 trains under Alexander Kozyrev.
  • 12 Open Republican Jiu-jitsu and self-defense Cups of Belarus are carried out.
  • 14 Open Jiu-jitsu and self-defense Championships of the Gomel area and Gomel city are carried out.
  • Many closed Jiu-jitsu and self-defense Seminars are carried out.

  • The groups of special preparation for the Judges and Instructors of Jiu-jitsu and self-defense work.
  • The groups of special preparation of Jiu-jitsu and self-defense for the employees of the Ministry of Internal Afairs of Republic of Belaurs in Gomel city, Services of protection and safety work.
  • For 18 years of development 39 men on a black Belt, more than 1000 sportsmen have received qualification Brown Belt (1st kyu), Blue Belt (2nd kyu), Green Belt (3rd kyu) and other kyu.

Symbol

Aims

One of main aims of BRPU Jiu-jitsu and self-defense - propagation of a healthy image of life, and also popularization of Jiu-jitsu in Belarus and for it limits, development of connections between clubs, associations, education of growing up generation, perfecting of the physical and spiritual world of the man.
