INDICATIVE PERFORMANCES
GOMEL CITY
November 1, 2002 (Friday) - in Belarus, in Gomel city, in Volotova region, in School 54 for anniversary of school (15 years) have passed Indicative performances on Jiu-jitsu and self-defense for the employees and pupils. There were visitors of Administration of a department of education of Railway region. The Instructor Dmitry V. Tyazhkorob has organized performance. The Instructor Alexander M. Sychev has conducted.

During last of 17 years in city Gomel and Belarus the Union conducts community work with the people. In city the trainings, competition, certifications, festivals and indicative performances are regular spent. For Jiu-jitsu and self-defense training the children's groups with 8 till 14 years are formed, with 15 till 20 years and is more senior, and also group for the men and women. On trainings the instructor teaches children and adults to be defended in the street, to not give to degrade itself, to be strong spirit from the smallest age,
and also regular spends conversations about a healthy way of life, harm of smoking and use of spirits. The majority of the parents are grateful that their children are held in evening time and are constantly found in a circle of the comrades, study to be defended in any difficult situations under supervision of the trainer. On trainings the severe discipline, order is respected, it is forbidden to swear. In each child the kindness, respect for the grown-up develops. For the young men the preparation for a service in Army is spent.
The Jiu-jitsu and self-defense Union - one of the largest Belarus organization, which alongside with community work is occupied with special training of services of guards and security services, special training of the employees MIB. Number of association, including compositions of official agencies of the regional centres of Brest, Minsk, Vitebsk,
Grodno, Mogileva, affiliates of Ukraine, Moldova more than 900 men. By 2003 BYPU Of Jiu-jitsu and self-defense has conducted in one Gomel city 8 Open Jiu-jitsu and self-defense Championships of Belarus.
Each year the sportsmen by all Belarus regions, many cities of Ukraine, Russia, Moldava gather. Besides some Open Championships of Gomel city and Gomel region, certification on Belts are regularly spent.
