Anniversary Belarus Cup

On April 24, 2004 from 11.00 in the House of Sports - Main Center of realization of all open official measures of association - has passed X Open Anniversary Belarus Cup of Jiu-jitsu and self-defense. Cup was opened by the Chairman, the Main trainer of the Byelorussian republican public association of Jiu-jitsu and self-defense, member of International Bushido Society - Alexander Kozyrev (Black Belt III Dan IBS).

The competitions were carried out by a highly skilled brigade led by Main Judge of the International category - Alexander Kozyrev. The head physician of union - Valery Voytovich. The doctor the candidate of medical sciences, senior lecturer of the Gomel state medical university Tengiz Gugeshashvili served competitions. Referi and lateral judge the Black Belt I Dan by 1-st and 2 categories with the experience of trainings more than 10 years - Alexander Bulanovich, Alexander Sychev, Igor Myalik, Alexander Lukashun (Judge - secretary), Andrey Shavel, Dmitry Tyazhkorob. The main secretary of competitions - Inna Ulyanova. The responsible secretaries - Marina Tkacheva, Valentina Tyazhkorob.

More than 100 participants from 22 teams demonstrated high preparation in Categories "A", "B", "C". On competitions 16 teams of Belarus - Gomel and all regional centers, 5 teams from Russia - Moscow (2 clubs), clubs of Tomsk, Voronezh, Kemerovo, Ukraine - club of city Ternovka of the Dnepropetrovsk area have gathered.

The participants, members of the union , have shown themselves the best in a Category "B" , which have occupied 1-st places - Sergey Baharev, Dmitry Kulak, Viktor Kernazhitskiy, Denis Andreychikov. 1-st place among the men - professionals in a Category "C" was occupied by Alexander Bulanovich. 2nd place - Alexei Zhemerikin (Moscow). 3-d place - Igor Myalik. Among the women 1-st place has occupied Tanya Meshkova, 3-d of a place have received Marina Tkacheva and Olga Belaya, having shown reality of execution of receptions. High professionalism in a Category "D" has shown Natasha Kryschenko, occupied 1-st place (Orange Belt 4-kyu), schoolgirl of the trainer - teacher of union Alexander Lukashun.

Each year the sportsmen of Gomel marked by gold medals, cups, diplomas, do not concede 1-st places to the participants of foreign teams. 1-st command place (8 Cups from 10) has occupied command of Gomel, 6 - 2nd of places, 13 - 3d of places. Russia has taken away home 2 Cups, 5 - 2nd of places, 1 - 3d a place. Ukraine - 3 - 2nd of a place, 2 - 3d of places.
